Markdown, HTML and Base64
Rendered Markdown with Mermaid diagrams, a live HTML preview, and decoded Base64 images and PDFs.
Markdown
Open or paste Markdown and the preview renders it as you type: headings, lists, tables, code blocks, links and images.
Mermaid diagrams in fenced blocks are drawn as diagrams:

```Use Zoom in, Zoom out and Reset zoom above the preview to scale it. If a diagram has a syntax error, Quap says Mermaid diagram could not be rendered in its place and keeps the rest of the page.
HTML
HTML documents get a live page preview. Two extra fields let you try changes without touching the document:
- CSS — extra styles injected into the preview,
- JavaScript — extra script injected into the preview.
The preview runs in an isolated frame. Very large HTML files are not previewed in full. From the editor's context menu, Preview HTML opens any selected HTML in a larger dialog.
Base64
Paste Base64 or open a .b64 / .base64 file and Quap decodes it:
| Content | Preview |
|---|---|
| Text | The decoded text |
| Image (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP…) | The image, with zoom |
| The document | |
| Other binary | Size, detected type and a hex preview |
Save file saves the decoded file; Open with default app opens it in Preview, Acrobat or whichever app handles the type. Images and PDFs you open from disk show the same way.
To encode text as Base64, select it and use Encode / Decode → Base64 in the edit toolbar, or convert the whole document with Conv → Base64.
