Settings
Every section of Quap's settings and what it changes.
Open settings with ⌘,, the gear in the title bar, or View → Settings…. Changes apply immediately.
General

Typography and colours
- Monospace font — System or JetBrains Mono.
- Editor font size and Tree font size.
- Editor colors and Preview colors — pick the colour of property names, objects, arrays, strings, numbers, booleans and null. Reset to default undoes your changes.
Keyboard shortcuts
A read-only list of every shortcut, grouped by Tabs, File, Editor, Preview and General. The same list is in Keyboard shortcuts.
AI Assistant
Provider, model, API keys, local models and the Send key names (schema) switch. See Providers and local models.
License
Your plan (Free or Pro), who it is licensed to, License key with Activate / Deactivate, and Buy Pro. See Free and Pro.
Updates
Check for updates, Download and install, and Check for updates on launch. With the launch check off, Quap only contacts the update server when you click the button.
Privacy
Send crash reports — off by default. See Privacy & data.

Settings JSON
Show settings JSON panel shows all settings as JSON. Edit it directly — handy for copying your setup to another computer. Invalid JSON is not applied (Invalid JSON — settings not applied). Reset all settings returns everything to the defaults.
