Macros and batch
Record a sequence of Quap actions and replay it on many documents.
Macro recorder
The macro recorder remembers named Quap steps — format, minify, clean, sort, dedupe — so you can repeat them.
Open it
Tools → Macro recorder.
Record
Click Record, then work as usual: format the document, remove duplicates, sort. Each step appears in the list (Format, Dedupe, Sort…).
Stop
Click Stop. Clear empties the list to start over.
Replay
Switch to the document you want to process and click Replay on batch. The steps run on the active document in order and Quap reports Replayed N step(s). A recorded Sort step opens the Sort dialog so you can confirm the array and order.
The recorder captures Quap's named tool steps, not every click or keystroke.
Batch
To run one action on several documents at once, use Tools → Batch: it lists the documents open in tabs. Tick them, choose Format or Dedupe, and click Run. Save the results with File → Save All.
When to use the AI instead
For anything beyond format, clean, sort and dedupe — masking, filtering, reshaping — describe the job to the AI assistant and save it as a recipe (Pro). A recipe runs the whole plan on any document with one click.
