Format & minify
Make JSON, YAML, XML and SQL readable, or squeeze them onto one line.
Use the toolbar or press ⇧⌥F to format and ⇧⌥M to minify. If a JSON file has comments, trailing commas or stray characters, Clean fixes them first.
How to use it
- 1Open or paste a document.
- 2Click Format in the editor toolbar or press ⇧⌥F. Minify is ⇧⌥M.
- 3If the file has comments or trailing commas, the button reads Clean and format: one click repairs and formats it.
